Hi! I am a thirty-something wife to an extremely hard-working and loyal man and mother of two cutie-pie babes. Before I became a mom, I taught 7th grade science in a small urban school district. My leave ends in September, 2011 unless I have another baby - that is not the plan. I would love to stay home with my children, Little Man (LM) born March 2008 and Baby Girl (BG) born November 2009, until they are at least in Kindergarten, but I need to find a way to bring in some income to do that. The jury is still out.
To me, this blog is a motivator to complete projects that I start (I am notorious for unfinished projects) and to get my wheels turning to find new, fun, creative ways to make use of what we have instead of buying new all the time. As a life-long learner, I am excited to try my hand at new techniques and strengthen my ability in others.
